OBIE Explorer and this site are made by Justin James of Let Your Nerd Be Heard. They’re independent tools for OBIE AI Hubs, not made or endorsed by OBIE. This page explains what each one does with your data.

The OBIE Explorer app

• Everything stays in your browser. When you sign in, OBIE gives your browser a sign-in token. The token, and everything the app reads from OBIE, is kept in this browser only. It’s never sent to us or to any server other than OBIE’s.
• It reads OBIE directly. The app talks straight to OBIE from your browser, using OBIE’s read-only tools. It can’t add, change or delete anything in your hubs.
• Reads use your OBIE tokens. Each read uses a few of your OBIE tokens, so the app saves what it reads and asks before reading again.
• Signing out removes it. Signing out of an organization removes its sign-in and everything saved for it from the browser.
• Send to Claude or ChatGPT opens a new chat there with a short request that names the records by their ids. What happens in that chat is covered by that service’s own privacy policy.

This website

• No analytics, no tracking cookies, and no advertising or social-media scripts.
• Hosting. The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as your IP address and browser) to run and protect the service.
• Fonts. The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when they load.

The contact form

• When you send the form, what you typed (your name, email, business, website and message) goes to Netlify Forms and is emailed to us.
• We use it only to reply to you and talk about your project. We don’t sell it or add you to a mailing list.
• To have your message deleted, ask us through the contact form and we’ll remove it from Netlify and our email.
